Biography
Ted Graham was business agent of Cleaning and Dye House Workers’ Union Local 20 in St. Louis. Police arrested him with president Allen Flory and secretary-treasurer Matthew McLoughlin on August 27, 1937 during an effort to pressure the union’s leadership over vandalism attributed to the cleaners’ strike. Graham was taken into custody but was not beaten; an exact release time has not been located.
