Biography
Rick Ball was an organizer for Service Employees International Union Local 49 in Portland, Oregon. During the 1993 National Day of Action for Labor Law Reform, he joined a sit-in at the National Labor Relations Board offices in the KOIN building and was one of nine people arrested when police cleared the lobby. The accessible oral history does not give the exact arrest date, booking details, disposition or any period of confinement.
