Biography
Paul Yuditch was the labor editor of the Yiddish-language daily Morning Freiheit. Immigration authorities arrested him for deportation on February 20, 1951 and held him without bail on Ellis Island. A federal judge later ordered his release on $5,000 bail after he had spent 17 days in custody.
