Biography
One of the six 'Reidsville Brothers,' Black Georgia prisoners selectively prosecuted and facing the death penalty over the July 23, 1978 Reidsville prison rebellion. The Black Panther Vol. 19 no.8 (1979).
A letter signed Moses Evans Jr. from Reidsville, Georgia, appeared in the July 15–28, 1978 Black Panther. Writing on behalf of imprisoned subscribers, he expressed support for the Party and discussed repression of prisoners who followed Huey Newton, George Jackson and Malcolm X. The letter documents his imprisonment before the July 23 rebellion prosecution.
