Biography
Forest Jordan, also spelled Forrest Jordan in contemporary reporting, was one of the six Reidsville Brothers prosecuted over the July 23, 1978 rebellion at Georgia State Prison. A February 1980 support newsletter reported that he received one life sentence. It did not establish the exact sentencing day, his earlier initial prison admission or a later release date.
Contemporary Reidsville case outcome
The February 1980 newsletter, spelling his first name Forrest, reports that this Reidsville defendant received one life sentence. The same six-defendant case, setting and co-defendants establish the match to the existing Forest Jordan record. It supplies no exact sentencing day or later release date. The July 23, 1978 prison rebellion occurred during an existing imprisonment and does not establish the initial admission day.
