Biography
Mohamed Shorbagi, a Georgia imam, was connected to the Holy Land Foundation and charged with providing material support to Hamas. In pleading guilty, Shorbagi agreed to cooperate with the government and testified in the trial of Abdelhaleem Ashqar and Muhammad Salah.

Court-document custody review October 13, 2026: The filed signed judgment, visually inspected on pages 1–3, confirms the February 27, 2007 sentence and remand but leaves the executed delivery date blank. The unsupported February 26 admission and exact duration have been cleared rather than replacing them with the filing, signature or sentencing day.
