Michael Zaharibu Dorrough, legally Michael Reed Dorrough, is a California prison writer and organizer against prolonged solitary confinement. His correspondence describes participation in the 2013 hunger strike at Corcoran. In a first-person account published by the Center for Constitutional Rights, he states that he moved from Corcoran SHU to the general population at Solano State Prison on November 6, 2015, after almost thirty years in solitary confinement.
