Biography

Michael Dell was an embroidery worker arrested for talking to strike pickets in Union City, New Jersey. The August 9, 1933 Daily Worker identifies him in its Princess Dress Shop strike report and says he was to be tried for disorderly conduct at the same Wednesday hearing as organizer Rose Brown. It does not establish that his arrest occurred on the same day as Brown’s, so no arrest day, discharge or total duration is inferred.
