Biography

Marion Laughlin was a woman Daily Worker seller arrested in August 1933 while selling the newspaper outside the Crucible Steel Atha Works in Harrison, New Jersey. The July 3, 1934 report says a right to sell was won and describes renewed interference with newspaper sales. It supplies no exact arrest day, charge, physical release or custody duration, and the renewed threats are not treated as a second arrest. Daily Worker, July 3, 1934, page 2.
