Biography
M. Lopez, a Food Workers Industrial Union baker, was arrested June 7, 1930 at a meeting outside Schlom Deutsch’s bakery near 86th Street and Bay Parkway. The June 11 account alleges a police-car beating and says he was taken to the 62nd Precinct and held on $500 bail.
