Biography

Louis Graver was arrested while picketing Marcus Shoe Store at 12 East Burnside Avenue in the Bronx at about 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 1936. The article calls the accusation loud talking and reports that Magistrate Louis Brodsky dismissed the cases that same night in 54th Street Night Court. The pickets were connected with Retail Salesmen’s Union Local 1268. A dismissal is not used to invent a separate jail discharge timestamp or a precise served total.
