Biography
Lorry Thomas was a Casa Romero sanctuary worker imprisoned at FCI Alderson for transporting a Central American refugee through a border checkpoint. Her first-person prison interview dates her arrest to Mother’s Day 1985 (May 12). An April 19, 1986 prisoner statement and the later 1986 interview independently identify her actual Alderson confinement. The imposed term was two years; exact admission and actual release are not established, and a projected mid-December 1986 release is not an actual discharge.
The demonstration report prints a prison solidarity message identifying Lorry Thomas at Alderson. This is evidence of the institution at the time of the April 1986 report; it supplies no exact transfer day and does not change a later or earlier institution in the existing case.
