Biography
Workers World recalls Kiyoshi Kuromiya’s childhood incarceration and later antiwar activism. Its Nevada camp location conflicts with the National Park Service’s LGBTQ heritage study, which identifies his birthplace as Heart Mountain Relocation Center in Wyoming. The camp location follows that corroborating source; no exact custody endpoints are supplied. Corroboration: https://www.nps.gov/subjects/lgbtqheritage/upload/lgbtqtheme-law.pdf (printed page 19-41). The same article reports Kuromiya’s separate arrest while demonstrating against the Vietnam War. It does not give the location, date, charge, discharge or custody duration.
