Kim Williams is associated with the Norfolk Catholic Worker. An eyewitness report by Art Laffin documents her arrest and release at a Pentagon peace witness in December 2023 opposing war and the killing of civilians, including in Gaza. This records protest custody rather than an imposed prison term. Source: https://www.fosna.org/preach-palestine-blog/dec-27-massacre-of-the-holy-innocents-witness-at-the-pentagon

Case

Charges: Disobeying a lawful order; no conviction established in the reviewed eyewitness report
Arrested: Dec 28, 2023
Released: Dec 28, 2023
Sentence: During the December 2023 Holy Innocents witness, Williams and Bill Frankel-Streit blocked a Pentagon checkpoint with a banner linking Wounded Knee and Gaza. Police arrested them after warnings, processed them and released them, charging disobedience of a lawful order. A March 7, 2024 Alexandria federal court appearance was scheduled. The reviewed report establishes no imposed sentence, detention duration or subsequent court disposition. The page also advertises a later December 27 event; that heading is not used as the 2023 arrest date.
