Biography

Khalid Al-Sudanee was the Jordan-based regional director of the Middle East office of the Islamic African Relief Agency. A federal grand jury in Missouri indicted him in March 2007 with the U.S. branch of the charity and several associates, alleging sanctions, money-laundering and conspiracy offenses involving transfers to Iraq. The indictment identifies him as a Jordanian resident born in 1951. Unlike several U.S.-based codefendants, available court records do not document that Al-Sudanee was arrested, extradited, tried or confined in the United States.
