Biography
Jerome White-Bey is a Missouri prisoner and anarchist organizer who founded the Missouri Prison Labor Union in 1998. He was arrested on June 26, 1978, pleaded guilty to robbery, second-degree murder and armed-criminal-action counts, and received a 50-year sentence. He entered the Missouri State Penitentiary on October 11, 1979. His political organizing developed in prison and was not the basis of the underlying prosecution. Public prisoner-support records document his continued confinement through 2014, but an authoritative release date or current custody status has not been established.
