Biography
Kenneth Shaun Traywick, known as Swift Justice, is an incarcerated Alabama writer, prison abolitionist and co-founder of Unheard Voices of the Concrete Jungle. Truthout describes years of solitary confinement in retaliation for speaking out. This reported treatment during imprisonment is separate from his original convictions. A 2016 federal court recommendation records 2009 first-degree robbery and first-degree sodomy convictions and two consecutive 25-year prison terms. Alabama Political Reporter interviewed him inside Bullock in January 2026 after a 35-day hunger strike, reporting that parole had been denied in June 2024 and his next hearing was set for 2029. He alleged a retaliatory pepper-spray assault; he also said ADOC dismissed his grievance as the force was deemed justified. That account is not a judicial finding of retaliation. The reviewed sources do not establish exact dates or a formal disciplinary term for the earlier reported solitary confinement.
