Biography

Kathleen Fisher, a Portland environmental chemist and Quaker, participated in the November 1999 SOA Watch funeral procession at Fort Benning. Contemporary reporting documents a June 8, 2000 sentence of one year of probation and a $1,000 fine, not a six-month prison sentence. A formerly attached federal register and 2014 custody endpoint belonged to an unbridged, much younger namesake and were removed. Any other prison episode requires separate identity-linked evidence.

Namesake and sentence correction verified October 12, 2026: Contemporary Nuclear Resister reporting identifies Fisher's June 8, 2000 probation sentence, distinct from the prison terms imposed on other defendants. SOA Watch Austin's chronology identifies the Portland chemist and her November 1999 case. The official locator assigns legacy register 18450-379 to Kathleen Margueri Fisher, now age 36, with October 2, 2014 departure. That subject's age is incompatible with the adult chemist and overseas service documented in 1999. The unbridged number, endpoint, unsupported admission and continuous duration were cleared. Exact initial detention and an identifiable photograph remain unresolved.
