Source verification
The December 7, 2011 federal sentencing announcement dates the Panamanian police capture to February 22, 2008, not 2009. It confirms the 130-month sentence imposed December 7, 2011 and two years of supervised release. The biography has been brought into line with the already-correct case dates. This source reports a February 2011 guilty plea but does not independently establish its exact day or an actual prison release date.
Sentence and custody-source verification
The April 17, 2009 U.S. Attorney announcement expressly reports the arrival from Panama that day of Alexis Freddy Mosquera-Renteria, Yarlei Bañol-Ramos and Jorge Abel Ibarguen-Palacio to face federal material-support charges. It separately dates their Panamanian police capture and custody to February 22, 2008. April 17 is the documented U.S. arrival, not the beginning of all confinement and not a release. The existing earlier custody dates remain unchanged. The announcement describes complaint allegations and a scheduled court appearance, not a conviction or proof that the scheduled appearance occurred.
