Daniel Barrera Barrera (El Loco) was extradited to the U.S. and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to import cocaine in connection with the FARC’s 16th Front cocaine-trafficking network operating from an airstrip near Barranco Minas, Colombia. Sentenced to 420 months federal prison plus a $10 million fine.
