Biography
John Paul Cupp was arrested in November 2025 after participating in protests outside the ICE office in South Portland, Oregon and posting related political content online. Federal prosecutors alleged that he threatened to kill federal officers and harm their families in remarks at the protest and in later videos. A magistrate judge ordered him detained on November 24, 2025, and the federal case remained pending in September 2026.
