Biography
Jim McFarland was a seaman arrested after participating in a demonstration at the North German Lloyd against Hitler terror. Page 2 of the November 8, 1933 Daily Worker announces an ILD and anti-fascist protest rally and says he was out on bail. Its two notices conflict about the next hearing: one says Thursday morning in Special Sessions, the other November 14. Both scheduled dates are preserved as announcements rather than resolved into a completed proceeding. The formal charge, first arrest day and actual time held are not supplied.
