Biography
Jerome 'Jerry' Friedman was Ohio State's undergraduate student president in 1971–72, an antiwar activist, and executive director of the Columbus Community Union. In May 1972 he was jailed under $100,000 bail. The reviewing court reduced it to $10,000, finding it unreasonable and discussing the original judge's objection to Friedman's criticism at a political meeting. His exact release date and final criminal disposition remain unverified.
