Biography

Jennifer Prichard was jailed during the Cove–Mallard logging-road campaign in Idaho. After earlier custody, she returned to jail in 1994 for refusing court-ordered restitution to the road-building contractor. The two periods belong to the same original sentence.

The Cove/Mallard Coalition identifies Idaho County Magistrate Michael J. Griffin as the judge at Prichard’s July 12, 1994 probation-violation hearing. It records her refusal to pay $350 restitution to Highland Enterprises. Mike Roselle’s separate account describes a temporary transfer of Prichard and Peggy Sue McRae to Clearwater County Jail at Orofino, followed by a request that another county collect them. That transfer account does not establish an exact transfer day or physical release date.
