Biography
Jelapis was a New York cafeteria strike picket. The March 15, 1930 Daily Worker names three pickets held under $100 bail each for Special Sessions at the First District Court amid the Benrod, Farragut, G. & G. and Regal cafeteria strikes. It separately mentions five G. & G. arrests, but does not expressly assign each named defendant to that particular shop. No first name, exact arrest day, physical bail release or outcome is supplied.
