Biography

James Simmons, also called Jimi, was George Simmons’s Muckleshoot brother and a Washington State Penitentiary prisoner. The contemporary report alleges racist retaliation and religious restrictions during segregation.

The November 13, 1981 Revolutionary Worker lists James Simmons, identified as a traditional Native American facing the death penalty at Walla Walla, among endorsers of the Mass Proletarian War Crimes Tribunal of U.S. Imperialism. The endorsement supplies political activity and contemporary identification; it does not establish a new custody admission or release.
