Biography
Jacob Tiomny was a reamer born around 1892 in Minsk Governorate in the Russian Empire, in present-day Belarus. He immigrated to the United States in 1910, joined the Socialist Party in Baltimore in 1918, and transferred to the Communist Party in 1919. His wife and three American-born children lived in Baltimore. The federal government deported him to Russia on February 1, 1921.
