Biography
Jack Zuroff was one of six pickets arrested September 12, 1935 outside Bickford’s restaurant, 215 West Forty-second Street, New York, on an unlawful-assembly accusation. Justice Frederick L. Hackenburg acquitted and released the six on January 13, 1936, according to the following day’s report. The statement that they had been held on the charge since September does not prove uninterrupted jail custody throughout the intervening months. No complete duration is inferred.
