Biography
Jack Palisky was arrested May 26, 1934 during the relief demonstration at Commissioner Hodson’s office in New York. An ILD announcement in the July 14 issue says he remained in jail awaiting bail while the other arrested workers had been bailed. It supplies no actual release, final disposition or complete duration. Palisky may be a name variant of the earlier surname-only Pulaski, but the issue does not establish that identity; the uncertainty is preserved for reconciliation.
