Biography

Ihsan Elashi, also documented as Ihsan Elashyi or Sammy Elashyi, worked for Infocom in Richardson, Texas. A 72-month sentence was imposed January 25, 2006 consecutive to an earlier 48-month sentence. His Infocom conviction was reversed December 29, 2008. He was physically released January 30, 2009, not 2011; the court terminated the earlier case's supervised release February 1, 2010.

2010s audit verified October 12, 2026: The DOJ report supplies the January 25, 2006 Infocom sentence. The February 1, 2010 court opinion distinguishes earlier-sentence admission December 10, 2002, reversal December 29, 2008, physical release January 30, 2009 and later supervision discharge. The BOP locator independently confirms January 30, 2009 under DOJ-documented spelling Ihsan Elashyi, register 28265-177, age66. The former 2011 release and associated total were unsupported.

Calculation follow-up October 13, 2026: The earlier blanket clearing of the day total was too broad for this completed custody interval. Both recorded endpoints are source-verified full dates; the supported elapsed-day total is retained. This does not count bail, later supervision or unrelated custody. Sources already verified for the corrected dates: source; source; source.
