Biography
Guilford Lee is a gay prisoner at Wallens Ridge State Prison in Virginia who sought legal assistance and filed grievances over violence and medical neglect. UPROAR’s June 2025 campaign reported an anti-gay assault on February 22, 2024, a subsequent wrist injury in segregation in May 2024, and continuing retaliation while his grievances, requests for records and criminal complaint remained unanswered. These are accounts attributed to his supporters, rather than findings from a criminal trial. His underlying conviction, first prison admission and eventual discharge remain unestablished.
