Biography

Individually named among workers arrested during Saturday mass picketing of Brighton Beach bakeries for reduced bread prices. The February 9 report describes police assaults and pending proceedings for unlawful picketing; it says sixty workers would appear in the Eighth Street Coney Island court. The two-day sentences described earlier concern three unnamed workers, not this named group. No individual verdict or exact release is printed. Saturday indicates February 6, 1932.
