Biography

George Weicz was individually reported jailed under heavy bond at Clifton in connection with an alleged strikebreaker’s windshield damage. The June 30, 1926 issue prints Weicz twice; broken native OCR variants are not substituted. The newspaper gives an alibi and disputes the accusation. Bond set is not bond paid, and neither exact release nor full detention is given. Source: https://www.marxists.org/history/usa/pubs/dailyworker/1926/1926-ny/v03-n144-NY-jun-30-1926-DW-LOC.pdf#page=1
