Biography

Friedrich Beyerbach was a refugee from Nazi Germany whose freedom was sought through habeas corpus proceedings in New York. The Daily Worker, August 23, 1934, page 1 reports that his hearing was postponed until August 28 and that attorney Irving Schwab, acting for the Committee for Protection of Foreign Born, planned to seek asylum from the Labor Department.
