Biography
Elliott White Haskins was a twenty-five-year-old man whom authorities alleged was associated with the Black Liberation Army. Police arrested him on October 3, 1973 during a raid at 79 Menahan Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn, where they also arrested fugitive Henry “Sha Sha” Brown. Haskins was wanted on a Freeport, Long Island, murder charge dating to February 4, 1972, and the Brooklyn district attorney said the men arrested with Brown would be charged with harboring a fugitive and hindering prosecution. Later court records, a release date and a confirmed period of confinement have not been located.
