Biography
May 19th Communist Organization activist arrested with Alan Berkman near Doylestown, Pennsylvania, on May 23, 1985. Released on conditional bail before fleeing in October 1985. The FBI continues to list her wanted on Pennsylvania weapons, explosives and identification charges; the separate D.C. bombing case was dismissed without prejudice in 2009. Exact jail admission and discharge days remain unverified.
Separate proceedings; bail order is not discharge
The Pennsylvania docket records detention by May 24, 1985. Pollak ordered conditional release July 24; additional conditions and bond filings continued July 30-31. These entries do not establish an actual discharge day. The unsupported July 30 endpoint and derived 68-day total are removed. The later D.C. prosecution supplies no separate May 1985 custody event, and its court is not a prison. Its original order dismisses case 88-00145 without prejudice on June 17, 2009. That order does not dismiss the separately listed Pennsylvania charges. Existing photograph retained.

Actual federal release distinguished from conditional bail
A fresh official BOP lookup for the profile's register 35048-066 returns ELIZABETH ANN DUKE and an actual release date of July 31, 1985. This records exit from federal custody in her Pennsylvania case. It is distinct from the July 24 conditional bail order and supersedes the former unsupported July 30 claim. It does not establish termination of all supervision. The exact first jail-admission day remains unknown, and no exact custody total is inferred from arrest. The separate D.C. prosecution and its later dismissal remain unchanged; dismissal of a case while a person is a fugitive is not release from jail.
