Biography

Don Pratt was jailed on draft-refusal charges and, alongside Joe Mulloy, spent six weeks in jail before being released on $2,000 bond pending appeal. A May 21, 1968 SCEF report reproduced in The Movement records their release after the Court of Appeals set aside unusually high bonds. Each was under a five-year sentence and $10,000 fine. The report does not supply an exact admission or release day, and the imposed five years are not actual time served.
