Biography

A sergeant in Mayagüez’s Rius Rivera cadet battalion arrested after the October 1936 attempt against Resident Commissioner Santiago Iglesias Pantín. The thesis expressly reports a ten-year prison sentence that he served; it does not provide exact custody endpoints. The manifesto lists him in Puerto Rican penitentiary custody with a nominal ten-year term, grouping him with the July1938 prisoners. The established individual record instead connects his ten-year case to the October1936 attempt on Santiago Iglesias Pantín. This grouping does not justify moving his arrest to July1938 or creating a duplicate conviction.
