Biography
Diana Oughton was a former Peace Corps teacher and Students for a Democratic Society organizer who joined Weatherman after the 1969 SDS split. She died on March 6, 1970 in the explosion at 18 West 11th Street in New York while members of the group were assembling bombs. Oughton died before authorities filed any charge against her. No arrest, booking, jail or prison confinement is documented in connection with her political activity.
