Biography

David Slesinger was a member of Appeal to Reason who opposed the Seabrook nuclear power project in New Hampshire. After an initial February 22, 1982 leafletting protest and suspended sentence, the two returned to Public Service Company offices on February 26 and were jailed. They pleaded guilty and received six-month sentences. A contemporary follow-up confirms release on June 26, 1982 after four months in custody.
