Biography
Cynthia Raygoza is a Riverside, California resident prosecuted following an August 28, 2025 encounter involving an ICE officer in Baldwin Park. She and two other women followed and livestreamed the officer; their position was that they believed they were observing immigration-enforcement activity. Prosecutors alleged that the pursuit and confrontation at his home constituted stalking and endangered his family. A government filing documents her subsequent arrest in Louisiana and transfer proceedings appear in the California docket in October 2025. On October 30, the government withdrew its detention request and the court set a $50,000 bond. A February 27, 2026 court calendar lists her on bond. That day, a jury convicted her of cyberstalking and acquitted her of conspiracy to disclose protected personal information. She sought a judgment of acquittal after trial. The September 23 court order continued her sentencing to October 19, 2026. The prosecution requested three years in prison; that request is not an imposed sentence.
