Biography
Core D'Amicis was among those arrested at the May 26, 1934 relief demonstration at 50 Lafayette Street in New York. Jenkins and Joseph Elwell describe a head wound treated by a doctor and a further beating after fingerprinting, leaving his mouth bleeding. These are the newspaper’s attributed witness accounts. No exact discharge day or complete custody total is established; surname-only defendants are not merged with unrelated same-surname prisoners. Daily Worker, May 31, 1934, page 2.
