Biography
Clarence W. Waldron was a Pentecostal preacher from Windsor, Vermont. Clarence W. Waldron was convicted in part for distributing a pamphlet entitled "The Word of the Cross" and in part for stating that "A Christian ought not and should not fight." He received a fifteen-year prison sentence and served in Atlanta Penitentiary from April 1, 1918, until his sentence was commuted on April 1, 1919. Waldron had one child.
The Los Angeles account names Sklar and Waldron as defendants who represented themselves in the trial running April 3–14 following the March 6 arrests. Defendants returned to jail pending $1,000 appeal bail.
