Harold G. Mackley was from Holland, Vermont. Harold G. Mackley was convicted for "disloyalty to ourcountry " and sentenced to fifteen years in prison. He served in Atlanta Penitentiary from March 21, 1918, to July 22, 1920.
1920s custody review: The original Senate table lists H. G. Mackley under Vermont: sentenced March 21, 1918 to fifteen years, commuted March 3, 1919 to three years, and released July 22, 1920. This independently corroborates the existing release date and supplies the sentencing date and commutation. The inherited March 21, 1918 admission date is retained pending further investigation, but this table labels that date as sentencing and does not independently verify admission. Arrest and an identifiable photograph remain unresolved.
