Biography

Chuck Turchick participated in the Minnesota Eight draft-board raids of July 10, 1970. Convicted with Bill Tilton, he received a five-year sentence. Minnesota Historical Society places the defendants’ actual terms between fourteen and twenty months and their release in July 1973. The ten-day contempt episode attributed to Turchick in the earlier biography concerned Brad Beneke.
