Biography

Barbara Mishler was arrested with Barb Katt during the August 1986 Hiroshima remembrance at Honeywell in Minneapolis and initially released the same day. She pleaded guilty to trespass September 3 and received twenty days plus a fine she refused, adding ten nominal days. The contemporary report confirms she was actually jailed by September 18, establishing multi-night custody, but September 28 is only the expected release. No exact later admission, actual discharge or completed thirty days is inferred.

The March 9, 1983 Nuclear Resister names Barbara Mishler among the St. Paul Federal Building blood-pouring protesters arrested December 29, 1982. On February 3, 1983, the five defendants fined $30, including Mishler and Patrick Mulvehill, refused payment and were sentenced to fifteen days. The report says all defendants were released three days early for good time. The exact later admission and physical release days are not printed; the nominal fifteen days are not fifteen completed days.
