Biography
Aziel Chambers was arrested during a June 24, 2025 protest against immigration enforcement outside the ICE office in South Portland, Oregon. Federal prosecutors alleged that Chambers pointed a laser at an officer and also charged conduct at protests on June 17 and June 20. Chambers remained in federal custody until a first court appearance on June 26, when a magistrate judge ordered release on conditions.
