Biography
August Sandberg was from Tucson, Arizona, and was imprisoned for alleged seditious remarks. The official 1921 Senate table records a two-year sentence and a $500 fine imposed June 1, 1918. His physical admission, release date and total time served remain unverified.
The Arizona row records two years and a $500 fine. The January 13, 1920 expiration annotation belongs to the preceding John Robbins row and is not assigned to Sandberg. The table separately identifies sentencing, nominal judgment and circumstances of execution; no new jail admission or actual-service counter is inferred. No source in the current raw body (which is empty) establishes the inherited actual-service override. That override is cleared; the nominal sentence is retained and actual total custody remains unknown. The inherited admission equals the source sentencing date and is not established as physical admission; it is cleared. The June 1, 1920 endpoint and 731-day counter merely reproduce the imposed two-year term and are removed. The older description claimed a different June 4 admission without a cited source; neither day is adopted as physical admission.
