Biography
August A. Miller, named August Adam Miller on his intake form, was an Austrian-born rancher prosecuted for Montana state sedition in Powell County. His signed form records sentencing to two to four years and admission to Deer Lodge on April 29, 1918. The previously stated April 1919 arrest is inconsistent with that original record and is not retained as a verified date.
