Biography
Arvo Lapakko, nicknamed Little Bits, led a march toward the Ely jail to protest the arrest of speakers at a labor demonstration. Two officers seized him and jailed him. The account says six were arrested and only Wiitala released, leaving Lapakko held at the account’s close. The May 26 report describes a Friday demonstration attended by fifteen hundred but gives no explicit calendar day, formal charge, final verdict or complete duration.
